Everyone is welcome to attend our weekly Thursday night meetings.
However, if you wish to be inducted into the National History Honors Society you must submit the below application.
Applications for the Honors Society
Applications are in the Phi Alpha Theta mailbox on the 3rd floor of Gregory Hall, in the hallway across from the History Advising (Wendy Mathewson's) office (Rm 305B). When you have filled out the application place it, along with a check for your membership fee, in a sealed envelope and return it to the same PAT mailbox.

Membership Requirements
In order to become a member of Phi Alpha Theta, one must meet the following requirements:
1. At least 12 hours of History credit
2. At least a 3.0 GPA Overall
3. At least a 3.1 GPA in History courses

Membership Fees
When becoming a member, you must also submit a $50 check made out to Phi Alpha Theta. This amount covers initiation fees, graduation cords, and various events. You will also receive The Historian, a publication featuring various historical articles.
